Aquarius Equity is a venture capital fund manager, founded in 2005 by the team. Our backgrounds are a combination of life science, investment banking, accounting and law, bringing together a team that is able to deal with most situations faced by a young capital growth driven company. We believe in capital growth, which is reflected in our investment philosophy of making personal commitment in each investment we make.

We invest in life science opportunities sourced from research institutions and industry, as well as new teams that have come together with a idea that we can help develop into a plan and ultimately an investment.

We provide capital investment for technology development during the company’s growth phase. We are comfortable in taking a business from its absolute inception, setting up a company and making further capital investments through its life to deliver significant capital growth.

As we take an active role in our investments we only invest in opportunities based in the UK.

We always lead investments and are often the sole investor. We always take a seat on the board of the company and forge a strong relationship with the founders and management team, doing whatever it takes to help them develop and deliver value.

We have the ability to invest up to £5m in any single investment company. The majority of our companies start with a small seed investment of a few hundred thousand pounds with further capital commitments up to several million as the company develops and its requirements grow.

We source the majority of our deal flow through existing networks in research institutions and industry, but are happy for ambitious founders to contact us directly to discuss their plans.
